This past week was our second week of the Intermediate Intensive. Many of the girls from the first week continued on to dance this week, and we also had some new faces join us! This week, J-Static was our choreographer, and he worked with the girls every afternoon this week to create a fun, energetic Hip Hop piece! Many of the girls don’t typically take Hip Hop during the year and aren’t as familiar with the style or movement vocabulary, but in one short week they were able to become a little more comfortable with this new genre of dance and performed it beautifully on Friday. It’s amazing how much you can learn if you really commit yourself to it!
